Toro Replacement Parts – How to Level Your Mower Deck
The best look for many homeowners during the heat of the summer for their lawns is one that is uniform in both height and direction of cutting. That’s what gives a lawn that professional look and ones that make neighbors jealous and small babies cry like a, well, like a baby! That might be stretching it a bit much on the adoration level but we here at Toro Replacement Parts
really appreciate a nicely-cut turf.Mower Deck that is Level Saves Work
If you need to have the above specifics each and everytime you cut your turf then you will have to adjust your mower deck to level and check this each and every time you cut that turf. That’s exactly what professional lawn maintenance personnel do and if you only knew what they do before and after each mowing job you would not ever complain to the wife about having to cut your own yard!
We have outlined a few easy steps so that you do not have to rack your brain trying to figure out how to do this and lose those tell-tale stripes in the turf this summer.
Step #1
With engine off and having cooled down enough to handle remove
the spark plug wire and place this far-enough away and tied off so
that it has no chance of making contact.
Step #2
On a very flat hard surface (concrete works swell) place a long
angle-iron piece under the mower carriage- on the ground.
Step #3
Remove the Plates at the Rear and move the angle iron under each
side to get level.
Step #4
Loosen the Eccentric’s Shoulder Blade and measure for the 1/8th of
an inch distance between floor and lowest portion of blade tip.
